Just off US Highway 41 between Venice and North Port, Florida, is the Venice campus of State College of Florida. Most college and university campuses are quite scenic and inviting places. This campus is definitely both. It includes a nature trail around a large natural wetlands area, pavilions, and even some hammocks for those seeking a peaceful nap after a walk around the grounds. The lake features many water plants and waterlilies which is inviting to the sea birds and water fowl that frequent the area. Signs are posted warning visitors not to feed the alligators which undoubtedly populate the shallow water. If you are ready for a nap, this is the place.

I have several versions of this image with text suitable for a variety of greeting cards for special occasions, such as birthdays, anniversary, and others. If you have a special message you'd like to use for the front of the card, let me know and I'll try to accommodate. My greeting cards are 5" x 7" (folded) and include white-envelopes for mailing and/or gift giving. Each card is printed on 100-pound paper stock with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. Inside has a matte white finish and can be customized with your personal message up to 500 characters.

I am an exhibiting artist in southwest Florida and my art has been exhibited in galleries in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina and is in collections nationwide. I create abstract photography, mixed media photo painting, acrylic mixed media, and acrylic paintings. Many would make great decorative throw pillows or shower curtains.
