Description
This tranquil mountain landscape photograph was captured on my morning walk in Hendersonville, North Carolina. The walking path traverses a hill and culminates with this view of the Blue Ridge Mountains before heading back down. I have always enjoyed seeing the flower display evolve over the season in the lovely rock garden with the bench looking across toward the distant mountains. What a lovely spot to just sit and ponder nature. There can be no worries or concerns when you are here - just peace, calm and tranquility.
Hendersonville is just south of the popular vacation destination of Asheville, North Carolina. This area in western North Carolina is especially popular for Floridians seeking escape from the summer heat. The mountains in the area offer many natural wilderness areas for hiking, mountain biking, and outdoor adventures.
