Description

This abstract mixed media painting by Sharon Eng was created to represent fall trees against a city skyline. With the large skyscrapers, I imagine this to be New York City. Of course, it could be Chicago or Boston, as well. The trees and buildings are reflecting into wet pavement perhaps. The skyscrapers are lit up in the night and the lights are reflecting on the almost-bare branches of the trees. The painting is heavily textured and was painted using brush, pallet knife and sponge to create many layers and depth.

I am an exhibiting artist in southwest Florida and my art has been exhibited in galleries in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina and is in collections nationwide. I create abstract photography, mixed media photo painting, acrylic mixed media, and acrylic paintings. Many would make great decorative throw pillows or shower curtains.
