Description
This is an original acrylic mixed media painting on 16 x 20 gallery-wrapped canvas. This began as a macro photo of some rust to which I originally added some trunks and branches to create an abstract stand of autumn trees. I did like the original image (still in my gallery as Autumn Tree), but I felt it need some freshening up.
I leafed out the canopy with collaged art papers, as well as leaf debris at the bottom and other trees in the background. I also applied acrylic paint and markers for falling leaves and color in other areas. I do think it has a fresher look now.
