Description
Fall in the North Carolina mountains can bring spectacular color. This was one of those years. On a drive up the Blue Ridge Parkway near Asheville, Mount Piscah presented some vibrant oranges and yellows at this rest stop. Many weather conditions can affect the intensity of autumn colors - rain, drought, temperature and more. In the Appalachian Mountains in North Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee, the color typically begins changing from green to red, yellow, rust, and orange in mid-October. This is prime tourist season in the mountains.
I am an exhibiting artist in southwest Florida and my art has been exhibited in galleries in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina and is in collections nationwide. I create abstract photography, mixed media photo painting, acrylic mixed media, and acrylic paintings. Many would make great decorative throw pillows or shower curtains. I've even had a couple abstracts made into my personal cell phone covers. Please check out my Facebook page Doodleng Art by Sharon Eng for announcements and more information about my art. This image would be a good selection for business or corporate wall art and decor or in any home.
