Description
Stone can be a wonderful source for abstract and semi-abstract images. The white coloration on a stone caught my eye. With some digital painting to brighten some of the color and enhance the trickling waterfall effect, plus a paint application, the Waterfall Illusion is complete.
This digital painting is reminiscent of many of the waterfalls in my area of Western North Carolina in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The cool, damp air near falls gives some welcome relief during the heat of the southern summer. The Appalachian Trail isn't far from our area and hikers enjoy exploring the many waterfalls and natural beauty of the Blue Ridge and Smoky Mountains region.
I am an exhibiting artist in southwest Florida and my art has been exhibited in galleries in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina and is in collections nationwide. I create abstract photography, mixed media photo painting, acrylic mixed media, and acrylic paintings. Many would make great decorative throw pillows or shower curtains. I've even had a couple abstracts made into my personal cell phone covers. Please check out my Facebook page Doodleng Art by Sharon Eng for announcements and more information about my art. This image would be a good selection for business or corporate wall art and decor or in any home.
