Description
The usual afternoon rain pattern in southwest Florida was transitioning to a morning pattern due to prevailing winds and other factors. During my walk around the wetlands trail on the campus of the State College of Florida in North Port, there were huge threatening clouds mixed with clear sky. I liked this formation with the tree which somewhat mimicked the shape.
State College of Florida Venice campus has a beautiful nature trail available to the public for running, walking, of biking around a large lake. Water fowl and birds frequent the area, as do alligators. The residents are always warned, "If there is a body of water, always assume there are gators." On this beautiful, sunny warm fall day, I couldn't resist exploring the wetland lake area.
