Description
This was originally an abstract image of a spiral staircase in a lighthouse on Cape Cod. I digitally manipulated the photograph into a sphere and did some digital painting on it. It had the orange tones and a hint of green. I’m a University of Miami fan – especially Hurricanes football. The more I looked at the image, I decided it needed some more green and, with football season underway, I titled it In the Eye of the Hurricanes. Also fitting since Hurricane Harvey has just plowed it way through Texas and Louisiana, and also left it’s mark on much of the south. Let’s hope the UM Canes can leave a mark this year, as well. Go Canes!

Lovely and powerful piece, Sharon. I am feeling the movement, and the colours enhance the drama and sense of danger and destruction. I love to experiment with bold colours and their emotional effects. Follow me if interested, in facebook.com/msartbysarka or Instagram.com/ms_art_by_sarka

I appreciate the visit and nice comment, Sarka. It is fun experimenting.
