This is an original acrylic painting by Sharon Eng to which I've added text as a poster. This might be great for the sailor in your life.
Even though I don't personally enjoy sailing (a fear of falling into open water with the fish), I love the concept and frequently feature sail boats in my paintings. It's not unusual to have lingering fog early in the morning and these early risers are making the best of it until it eventually lifts. The day holds much promise for a good sailing day.
This scene could be just about anywhere with a coastline and large open water, such as Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, New York, Long Island, Massachusetts, Cape Cod, Michigan, Wisconsin, Texas, California, Oregon, the Caribbean Islands, Mexico, and anywhere else in the world.
I am an exhibiting artist in southwest Florida and my art has been exhibited in galleries in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina and is in collections nationwide. I create abstract photography, mixed media photo painting, acrylic mixed media, and acrylic paintings. Many would make great decorative throw pillows or shower curtains.
