It depicts my interpretation of a full moon (rise or set) at high tide with incoming waves moving towards the unseen beach. The sky still carries a hint of a purple sunset and the moon cast a reflection into the water. I hope the viewer finds this as relaxing and peaceful as I do.

This could be a scene along any coastal region, from the US (from Cape Cod along the Jersey shore and Long Island, down the coast to the mid-Atlantic along Virginia and Maryland, to the south and Georgia, North Carolina and Florida). The Gulf states, Pacific coast and Great Lakes also have such beautiful moonscapes.
