Description
This is an original acrylic mixed media painting depicting my interpretation of a swampy landscape. In some areas, this is called a slough ("slew"). The areas are wetland areas with much water and vegetation including cypress trees, palms and pines. This painting was inspired by a visit to the Six Mile Cypress Slough in Fort Myers, Florida. Wetlands, marshes and swamps play in much of my art, probably because I live in southwest Florida.
