Description
This abstract landscape appears to be a tree limb dropping low and skimmin the surface of a body of water - perhaps a lake, river, stream or even the ocean. The twisted branch has obviously felt the ravages of time and the elements, but refuses to let go and fall into the depths. The gnarled wood and the foliage that stubbornly clings on are reflected in the surface of the water.
In reality, this was a macro photograph taken off of an old tool box. I have done some digital painting and enhancements to bring out the image I initially saw in the rust and metal.
I am an exhibiting artist in southwest Florida and my art has been exhibited in galleries in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina and is in collections nationwide. I create abstract photography, mixed media photo painting, acrylic mixed media, and acrylic paintings. Many would make great decorative throw pillows or shower curtains. I've even had a couple abstracts made into my personal cell phone covers. Please check out my Facebook page Doodleng Art by Sharon Eng for announcements and more information about my art. This image would be a good selection for business or corporate wall art and decor or in any home.
