The Vietnam Memorial Wall of Southwest Florida is a half-scale (approximate) replica of the wall in Washington, D.C. The installation is dedicated to the 58,000 plus men and women who gave their lives in the Vietnam War. The momument is located in Laishley Park in downtown Punta Gorda in a beautiful park-like setting. The half-scale memorial was dedicated in November 2016 and is the seventh replica of the dramatic and once-controversial monument to be built in the United States.
I am an exhibiting artist in southwest Florida and my art has been exhibited in galleries in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina and is in collections nationwide. I create abstract photography, mixed media photo painting, acrylic mixed media, and acrylic paintings. Many would make great decorative throw pillows or shower curtains.
