1/10/2020 - I was delighted to receive an Honorable Mention award in the Teachers/Professionals category for my abstract mixed media acrylic painting Tropical Explosion. This painting has a lot of texture due to the use of modeling paste and paper, as well as acrylic paint. I wanted something that screamed TROPICS and I think I got it. The original is available for purchase. See my website www.Sharon-Eng.Pixels.com for more information. Prints can also be purchased in a variety of sizes and finishes, as well as on many decor and other products.

Car dealers and retail stores have their End of the Year Inventory Reduction Sales, so why not artists?
Artists can accumulate too many canvases and finished paintings which take up valuable room in often small studios. After all, there is only so much wall space and closet space to store art. Such is my case. I do have art on exhibit at various brick and mortar galleries, but I need to clean house and start the new year fresh.
I am an award-winning exhibiting artist and my work is in collections across the country. Now you can add an original, signed piece to your collection at
50% off the retail price plus I’ll pay half of the shipping cost.
All art is unframed. Some are flat on canvas or paper and matted to the final overall size. Others are on gallery-wrapped canvas and the sides are painted so no frame is necessary to hang. All originals (plus some artist-purchased prints that are matted for framing and signed) can be seen at my “End of Year Clearance Sale” collection at my website www.Sharon-Eng.Pixels.com.
Keep in mind, too, that if you prefer a different size, all of these are available as prints through the website (sorry, these special orders aren’t on sale).
See something you like, just message me through my Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/sharonengart or from the Pixels website for more specific information about the painting and we’ll work out the details for your purchase.
Help me make room for new work in 2020!

Artist Sharon Eng's mixed media painting Blue Bayou was awarded a Merit Award by the North Port Art Center in February at the House of Blue Exhibit. The artist's 16 x 20 art depicts her vision of the wild swampy areas with thick forests and dark waters. The trees, created from torn papers, including from music sheets, and paint, are reflected in the lower portion representing the waters.
The original painting is available for sale and prints are available at her website https://fineartamerica.com/profiles/sharon-eng.html. The abstract image also translates well into other decorative products available at the Fine Art America site, including pillows and towels.

I received notification yesterday that my photograph After the Ride has been accepted into the prestigious All Florida Exhibit at the Alliance for the Arts in Fort Myers, Florida. Out of 650 entries from throughout the state, only 60 or so were juried in. This is the second year that I have had a piece in the show. The exhibit runs from March 1 - 30.
