Artist's Description

This minimalist abstract image was created from a macro photograph of some paint residue on my paint work table. I really liked the strong orange color against the light. With a little digital enhancement, I created a rough pastel painting and saturated the color a little. A little more tweaking made it appear to be a reflection in a wet surface. If you don't see what I do, no problem. That's the fun thing about abstracts - it can be whatever you want it to be.

I am an exhibiting artist in southwest Florida and my art has been exhibited in galleries in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina and is in collections nationwide. I create abstract photography, mixed media photo painting, acrylic mixed media, and acrylic paintings. Many would make great decorative throw pillows or shower curtains. I've even had a couple abstracts made into my personal cell phone covers. Please check out my Facebook page Doodleng Art by Sharon Eng for announcements and more information about m...

Although I may give a title to the image based on my vision, the interpretation is always up to the viewer. I always hope...
