Description
Although this wooden foot bridge to the beach could be on any beach, this particular one leads the way to Ridgevale Beach in Chatham, Cape Cod, Massachusetts. The bridge was originally dedicated to Mert Sayles, a long-time resident of the Ridgevale community who was instrumental in getting the bridge built. Wherever your fondest beach memories are, maybe this image will bring them to mind.
The original photograph of this beach view has been digitally enhanced and painted to create this painting. I have added text to the image suitable for a card or poster or even apparel for those who think of the beach as their happy place.
Cape Cod is a peninsula in the shape of an arm off the U.S. state of Massachusetts. It is a popular summertime destination for its quaint villages, seafood shacks, lighthouses, freshwater glacier ponds, and bays and beaches. Visitors can board ferries in Hyannis and Harwich Port to cruise over to the Cape islands of Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. Cape Cod extends from Provincetown at the northeast tip of the fingers to Woods Hole in the upper arm in the southwest. Chatham is located mid-Cape at the elbow.
I am an exhibiting artist in southwest Florida and my art has been exhibited in galleries in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina and is in collections nationwide. I create abstract photography, mixed media photo painting, acrylic mixed media, and acrylic paintings. Many would make great decorative throw pillows or shower curtains. I've even had a couple abstracts made into my personal cell phone covers. Please check out my Facebook page Doodleng Art by Sharon Eng for announcements and more information about my art. This image would be a good selection for business or corporate wall art and decor or in any home.
