Description
Deep in rural northwest Georgia lies a haven for photographers. Old Car City in White, Georgia, is home to hundreds of old, wrecked autos and trucks. Some cars are piled four high and flattened. Others stand alone, caked in rust, broken windows, torn upholstery. These are distressed hulks of what they once were. In the midst of the auto graveyard, stands this broken, decayed truck with its door slung open as the last owner left it to rust away. Maybe, if we stare past the broken window and beyond the open door, we can catch a glimpse of what it once was.

Thank you, Andrew. Salvage yards present great opportunities for interesting images

So true, Rene. Glad so many are being "saved" by photographers who appreciate the beauty that was.

Love the subject and composition, great title too
Sharon Williams Eng replied:
It's sad to see these vehicles falling to ruin, but they are great for photographers.
