This is an original acrylic mixed media abstract tropical painting by Sharon Eng. This painting incorporates various art papers and paint to depict an abstract, stylized palm tree. Out-of-focus shadows hint of some activity and other things in the background. I imagine these palm trees on some sunny beach in Florida or the Caribbean at a resort with Calypso or Island music playing from the nearby tiki bar. The shadows can be beach strollers, hotel staff bringing refreshing drinks and towels to the guests soaking in the sun by the beach.
