The Sentinel

Medium
Mixed Media - Acrylic Mixed Media
Description
The original of this abstract landscape painting is an acrylic mixed media painting incorporating torn art papers and acrylic paint. The tree stands as a sentinel over the expansive vista and is firmly rooted to the earth. Although I envisioned a desert scene, it also could be a scene from the Eastern mountains, such as in Western North Carolina, north Georgia,Tennessee,or Virginia.
I am an exhibiting artist in southwest Florida (recently relocated from Hendersonville, North Carolina), and my art has been exhibited in galleries in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina and is in collections nationwide. I create abstract photography, mixed media photo painting, acrylic mixed media, and acrylic paintings. Many would make great decorative throw pillows or shower curtains. I've even had a couple abstracts made into my personal cell phone covers. Please check out my Facebook page Doodleng Art by Sharon Eng for announcements and more information about my art.
