Description
Where there is a will, there is a way. This digital photo painting was created using my photograph of some colors on a rock. In it, I see a bare tree hanging onto a rocky, barren mountaintop. It has grown its roots deep into the crevasses. It is a survivalist. Many endure great hardships but still manage to survive. Perhaps they don't thrive as we perceive it, but they continue to live and do the best they can.
“Sometimes even to live is an act of courage.”
― Lucius Annaeus Seneca
I am an award-winning exhibiting artist in southwest Florida and my art has been exhibited in galleries in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina and is in collections nationwide. I create abstract photography, mixed media photo painting, acrylic mixed media, and acrylic paintings. Many would make great decorative throw pillows or shower curtains. I've even had a couple abstracts made into my personal cell phone covers. Please check out my Facebook page Doodleng Art by Sharon Eng for announcements and more information about my art. This image would be a good selection for business or corporate wall art and decor or in any home.

In addition to the banner, I am adding this more permanent recognition of its FEATURE on the homepage of A TREE OR TREES IN BLACK AND WHITE. I try mightily to feature only images that would be at home in a juried competition. No doubt that this image fits that bill. CONGRATULATIONS! And consider adding your image to DISCUSSIONS "Please post your featured photograph here" for greater, long-lasting visibility.

Thanks so much, Calvin, for including my image in the A Tree or Trees in Black and White group features.
