Description

This is an acrylic mixed media painting that I no longer have. I used some fabric and lace for the fanciful bright tropical sun. I have reimagined the painting and done some digital editing to soften the reflections in the water and add a little of the brilliant orange os the sunset/sunrise.

This dreamscape could be a sailor's dream of sailing into the setting or rising sun toward the hills and mountains of some tropical Caribbean island. It could also be a Florida landscape or somewhere off South America or Mexico - anywhere palm trees shade the sandy beaches and the warm tropical breezes blow into your sails.

I am an exhibiting artist in southwest Florida and my art has been exhibited in galleries in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina and is in collections nationwide. I create abstract photography, mixed media photo painting, acrylic mixed media, and acrylic paintings. Many would make great decorative throw pillows or shower curtains.
