These rustic willow and wood chairs fit perfectly in the mountain resort town of Highlands, North Carolina (NC). These were providing a resting spot outside a local restaurant.
Highlands is in the Western North Carolina region of the Blue Ridge Mountains which is part of the Appalachian Ridge. The cool, damp air in this mountain region gives some welcome relief during the heat of the southern summer to Floridians and Georgians who are frequent visitors. The Appalachian Trail isn't far and hikers enjoy exploring the many waterfalls and natural beauty of this region. Nearby towns include Cashiers, Franklin, Sylva and Dillsboro.
